DCV Controller with Integral Airflow Measurement Device

GreenTrol Automation has been manufacturing application specific controllers since 2009. An integral thermal dispersion airflow measurement device saves energy and improves DCV control. Easy to configure and low cost. Compatible with analog and RS-485 BACnet MS/TP CO₂sensors or occupancy counting devices. Stand-alone operation or connect to an RS-485 BACnet MS/TP building automation system.

Supports the following DCV methods:

Traditional CO₂-DCV: Eliminate over and underventilation by maintaining airflow rates between user-defined upper and lower airflow limits.
Advanced CO₂-DCV: Reduce lag and compensate for occupant CO2 production rate variability. Comply with newly adopted changes to ASHRAE 62.1 by resetting the outdoor airflow setpoint between user defined minimum and maximum ventilation rates based on the CO2 level of the ventilation zone.
Population-based DCV: Use airflow and CO₂ to estimate the population or connect to an occupancy counting device to maintain ASHRAE 62.1 specified ventilation rates.
